If you vomit within two hours of taking the pill, call a healthcare professional to determine if you should repeat the dose. (In this case you can contact us if you need another pill)

When should I take it?

Is Emergency Contraceptive an abortion pill?

For optimal efficiency, take the emergency contraceptive within 72 hours of unprotected sex. The sooner you take it after unprotected sex, the more efficient it will be.

Emergencency contraceptives are not abortion pills. While abortion pills terminate an existing pregnancy, emergency contraceptives prevent one from being conceived.
